The Brief
A collection of children's books each with their own powerful message, raising money for local charities.
Illustrated by young illustrators on the Isle of Man to help kickstart their creative careers.
The Idea
Currently I have put together three books in this series; 'PINK: The Adventures of a Manx Fairy', 'RED: A Manx Dragon Called Rufus' and 'BLUE: Walter the Royal Fire Engine'.
I really enjoy the collaboration with young illustrators, helping to navigate the challenges of print design and pixelation, and encouraging them to consider text placement in their composition.
It has developed into a wonderful project to be a part of, raising over £4000 for local charities on the Isle of Man so far.
We are currently working on the 4th and 5th book in this series, due to be released later this year.
